Just to show the first interval I posted with Mobil 1 wasn't a fluke, here another.
It's the same 5W-30 oil but 1/2 way through the interval I added 3oz of an additive called Auto-Rx and a bottle of Schaeffers #132 EP oil additive.
Unless you really thrash your 3.4L, I don't see any reason you can't go 7500 or maybe more miles with good oil...
