The rattle from hell has been located and dealt with. For the last year I have put up with a clackity rattle that eminated near the charcoal cannister,simply because I could not locate the source. Well today I did some poking around near the cannister,and for the hell of it I bent back the inner fender a bit,and kablam no more rattle. I have a 97 that looks nice,and has leather,but with the rattle it felt like I was driving a 4wheel crapcan. Now My runner rolls nice an quiet with no rattles,it's like a brand new truck.
