Well just thought I'd share. I'm going to buy this 98 Taco I was looking at the other day and say good bye to my 90 4Runner Shes done me proud but it's time for a new vehicle and with the way gas prices are here in Maine and I'm sure everywhere else, the 4cyl 5spd looked like a great option. Plus I'm getting one hell of a deal on it too. The miles are kinda high at 105k but They really worked with me on getting me into since my credit sucks. So at $7,100 I thought it was a sweet deal considering retail is $7,800. Anyway...I hope to enjoy many years out of her and hopefully get Maine to unpucker alil and give the offroad enthusiasts of this state some more leaway. More to come I'm sure.....

thats almost the exact swap i just made. youll love the boost in power with the tacoma, but the lack of sheltered cargo space is hard to get used to at first. i still miss my runner but i love my truck too.

 

At least it's 4wd, right?
