I was searching some forums about plugged cats, and they said to test for this by removing the o2 sensor to look for a gain in power. If the o2 sensor is removed and the check engine light comes on, when i put my o2 sensor back in will the check engine light go off by itself or will i have to reset this. If I do have to reset this, whats the procedure? Thanks

 

pull the 15 amp efi fuse under the hood for about 10 min...it should go out
