O/d

I have a 93 V6 with A/T and when i get on the highway sometimes my overdrive doesn't kick in for a while does anyone have an idea as to why it doesn't kick in. Its done it a few times now and im starting to think that there may be a problem

Could be a couple things. First i would look at the kick down cable, then test the TPS and make sure that it is with specs. Then i would look at the cooling system as the overdrive is temp controled. It won't shift into overdrive if the temp isn't right, and if you are driving on the highway it may be too cool. Check the Temp sensor. Pull the codes and see if there is any trans codes that pop up indicating a solenoid.

There was a thread about this a month ago or so. I can't remember if they fixed it, but there were a lot of replies.
