Now that's wierd

I went in to Toyota yesterday to have a look at a 03 4Runner, I checked out a Sport Edition V8. I didn't test drive it though because it was rush hour traffic and theres no point in testing it at a crawl.

I was pretty impressed overall with it, fit and build quality seems good and lots of neat little Toyota features (storage trays galore for example).

If you haven't checked one out yet I suggest you do.

The wierd thing was...the 03 with a V8 is cheaper than a 02 with the 3.4v6.

While I like the new 4Runner, I love my first gen and it has way more cargo room. Besides, I'd rather use the money for a new one as a downpayment on a house.

I agree w/the money towards a house instead of another vehicle concept.

I'm really starting to like the 4th gen. 4Runners more & more now, especially after seeing their 4Runner video off their website & seeing one in person. I didn't think I would, but with all the advanced features it comes with, it's just a matter of time before I buy it. I just want to get my money's worth for my '97 4Runner first & not have car payments for a few years.
