Not starting when it rains
Hey folks:
My car won't start whenever it rains. It cranks fine but the engine won't ignite. Just had a major tune up and replaced the battery, so it isn't a maintenance issue. Any ideas on what to replace? Thanks.

Does it act up when it starts to rain while you are already driving?
You could get a spray bottle of water and spray things till it won't start.
That's how I found my frayed O2 wires.

No not while driving. It just doesn't start when it rains.

I had the same problem, but it was my wires. The insulation had worn thin and it would carry on something fierce in the morning after I got it cranked.

Dist. Cap here. omly happened when it rained. Funny didn't notice it until I was telling my friend about it, we opened the hood (raining outside). When I tried to start it the cap lights up like a tesla coil. Check it out.
