Phrases mostly likely to be heard near a 2003 4runner:

1. Come on kids soccer practice is over.... get in...you have homework to do.
2. What the %@&#$ was toyota thinking.
3. Wow! Plastic! This thing has more than the Avalanche.
4. Grandma and Grandpa's Dodge Dynasty just crapped out. Hey...What about a 2003 runner.
5. What the &%#$! was toyota thinking.

Sad,
Sam

I have your design right here.
Solid axle, removable hard top, etc.

2 & 4 door models. Think how these would sell if they retooled and offered these here? Especialy with the enhancments now since the 1st gen was born.

Ahhhh, I can dream can't I?
I bet there are some Toyota designers who have thought the same idea too with a 2 & 4 door model brought back to production.

I'd say something like this would sell.
This is Bill's rig. One sweet ride.
Corey

I'll take two of these red ones please

Those are the best pictures I have seen so far.
I guess I am old fashioned but I still am big on
chrome. I think the new 4-Runner looks a little soft. The red off-road Runner looks very tough,
but of course, needs more chrome for me.

Wife: "Honey, the weatherman said it is going to be another scorcher today."

Husband: "Better pull the new 4Runner inside so the plastic doesn't melt."

Toyota does some weird things. I could live with the redesigned grill on the Tacomas a few years back, but this is ridiculous.
