Newbie Interior Question

I'm trying to restore the interior of my 86 pick up. I am missing something that conceals the trans tunnel where the carpet ends an the plastiv console starts. See the pics attached for where I'm refering to as it's hard for me to describe in words.

Thanks for anyones input.

shouldn't there be another boot around your shifters? i think that's what you're missing... you shouldn't see any metal.

That's exactly my point. There has to be someone on this board that has a 2nd gen PU that knows what part is missing there. The interior was in real bad shape, and it's starting to look pretty good, but I just can't figure this one out.

Also... What are people dong for cupholders? Is there some sort of aftermarket product that seems to work in these trucks?

I'm not 100% sure about the older trucks but on the 89-95s the SR5 model had a leather shift boot over top of those rubber "inner" or "lower" boots, like this:

that boot you are missing is the same as the one in one of the previous posts you should be able to pick one up in the correct colour from the stealer or else try yotayard.com they almost certainly have one or two laying around . cheers aviator
