Anyone seen the crome honeycomb pattern of the new GMC Yukon SUV's front grille? Think it would be possible to get material like it and install it behind a 3rd Gen grille?

 

I know exactly what you mean as I've seen it in person. It's chrome coated plastic believe it or not. You can't buy that style anywhere. If you bought a yukon grille, you would have to cut it down. But, once you get throw that coating it's going to peel.

You best solution is to go with the gutter guard like others have done. I'm sure you already thought of that though.

 

Hmm...Yes...Ive seen the gutter grilles....not exactly what I wanted..not that this is a mod I was really looking into...just something I was toying around with.

That is a pretty cool lookin' grille! I like it, but don't think I am getting it! I like the look of the stucco wire (gutterguard) stuff. I think that it looks pretty cool! :fireman:
