Looking forward to your Dyno #'s.

Oh and since you're picky about the lights (that's good to be though, I am too), any chance water can leak into them? I've thought about ordering them, and then spraying them w/ a water house to see if they'll leak.

The figment issue would drive me every-so-slowly out of whack. If not for that, I'd pick up a set right away. Great post, thank you for taking the time to do photographs and a review

Haha I bet they were like, "Son of a bitch, those are bright!." Because I know I've thought that before about some tail lights! haha

Hmm, well, if they're THAT right, they might be too bright? On the other hand - I have always dreamed of blacked-out tail-lights and this might be perfect for that - the extra brightness would be compensation for the tint.

VERY interesting, the only reason I've never tinted my tails was because I wanted to keep my visibility optimal - I once almost slammed into a Mustang because his tails were so dark.

PS. Thank you for the example of being overly critical and wanting high quality control tolerances, haha, thanks for the photograph, yeah, I see where it's a little off too - well, the gap is there indeed (I'm that anal too) but I suppose I could live with it, yes.

QSVailside, Thank you for the good information.
I'm considering the purchase of LED tails.
Is that made in U.S. or made in Taiwan?

Those look pretty sweet. Now what would really finish it off, is if someone made and LED 3rd brake light up top.

Be sure to use stock gaskets on the TRD headers. The gaskets that came with my TRD headers leak and it makes the most horrrendous sound in the world. Sounds like a I'm drivng a tractor.

by the way how much are the tail lights?
