New stereo install question

I have a 99 runner with the original 3 cd changer/cassette double DIN unit. It works fine except... it wont read my cd-rs and it has no aux input for an ipod, not too surprising since it is 1999. Anyway I am going to replace it with a new unit, and its looking like it will be a single din player. Anyone have a source for a pocket to fill the empty space? I have checked several online parts sites and no joy, I hate going to my local stealership for anything, and am hoping the knowledge base here will help me out. Oh, and does anyone want on original OEM double DIN unit?

i filled this spot after i installed my new head unit in a kinda creative way...i took an old plastic 6x9 speaker grill (any thin plastic will work) and cut it to be about 1/8" wider and taller than the actual opening. i then took a pair of tweeters and mounted them there, and added some automotive carpet around them to finish it off nice...
