Greetings everyone...

I picked up a 99 SR5 about three weeks ago.
I bought it with the Gen1 TRD supercharger installed.

So far, I've installed:
TRD tranny oil cooler kit
TRD radiator cap
TRD second gen dynamic SC tensioner
Addco rear sway bar kit (not installed yet)
Performance Parts Springs (waiting for new shocks)
Flushed everything with Amsoil fluids

Looking to purchase in the near future:
Addco front sway bar kit
New shocks
URD fuel kit
Valve body upgrade
wideband O2 system
flexalite fan system
smaller SC pulley

looking forward to all of the excellent advice and information on this board!

oh, i should add...

the SC is out of my 4runner and at Magnuson for an overhaul.

couldn't believe how easy it was to take it out... took about 1hr 45 minutes
to do everything.

Has anyone with the TRD kit experienced a loose pulley situation?

It seems that's what happened to my SC, although the internals were perfect.
Sounded like the locking tooth broke off.

Actually, I did too. I hadn't had the spare change to do so until payday.

Welcome to the forum!

While the S/C is out, you should do the spark plugs and install a TRD thermostat!

YEP, changed to Denso Iridium IK22s already.

Waiting to get the URD kit, which comes with the TRD thermostat...
Hopefully, I can get the kit by the end of summer.
