Talking new to me 4runner

Well after a trip to my shop, I needed 1,700$ in msc. work done on the 96 (non-preventative maintance). I really did not have the money, so I looked around town for a new rig. I found a 94 SR5 w/ leather and 5spd same milage as the 96 and in better condition than the 96. So I did an even swap trade. The 94 has 31 10.50 all terrains with 2k miles and pacer 8" wheel. I may sell the wheels but not sure yet. Its kinda nice havin a tale gate and 5spd Pics are below in the picture link. Lemme know what you think. It looks like corey's minus all the cool stuff corey added

Sounds like a good swap. Yeah, I too like my tailgate. It is really nice to have it. I am glad to hear that you like the "new" Runner. I looked on the site, but I did not see any pictures. :fireman:

Looks great! I have always like the 2nd gens. Not as much as the 3rd gens, but a great truck.

Yeah the 2nd Gens Rock My mom just recently bought a '97 4Runner Limited, and I really like mine a lot more (although I would like it even more if it had the 3.4L 5VZ-E Engine ) I really like the tailgate on the 2nd Gens, but I also really like the front coil-overs on the 3rd Gens grrrrrrrrrrr can't wait for Downey's Coil-over conversion for 2nd gens Let's just hope I'll have enough for it when it comes out

As far as L33T35T's post about his Runner having 92k miles and still in perfect condition... Mine's at 165k miles and still running like a champ Mine definitely doesn't look as nice as yours though, I have some nice battle damage on my rear and tailgate from backing into my friend's mailbox  (Why couldn't they have one of those nice easy to break mail boxes, instead they have one of those armored one. Those damn things are tough) I backed into it at about 10mph and it just bent over a little, and put a huge dent in my rear bumper, and some smaller dents up my tailgate.

I am looking into getting BFG A/Ts (31x10.5x15). However, I have the stock wheels. Do you think these tires will look as good as your's do (i.e. stick out a little from the wheel well) or is this the product of your aftermarket wheels?
