Talking New Look for my 4Runner

After changing the valve cover gasket and stem cleaning the engine bay and skid plate I decided to repaint the skid plate.

Originally I was going to paint it black but then I found this great Hammer Cote paint in a colour that almost matches the grey on the sides of my 4Runner. After painting the skid plate I decided to re-do my Toyota/Warn centre bar. It looks pretty cool and the paint is a hard chip resistant coating. It is normally used on tool boxes and power tools

Sorry my camera needs recharging before I can upload pics so I will transfer them tomorrow night.

Cool Mack, looking forward to the pics.
I just painted my hook yesterday for the winch.

Was bored, so I took it off and shot it red to match the shackles up front.

That Hammered finish paint is what's on my sliderz. Gives it kind of a two tone ball peened black/gray look.

Yeah, can't wait! I think you made the right decision to paint it with that type of paint. You will not be let down by that choice. Congrats and can't wait to see those pictures! :fireman:
