In my opinion it's in way to good of condition to off-road it.. but that's just me.

Yes the plate does have the tabs attatched to it. No rattling whatsoever.

Just wondering if you installed this lift. I need to find a place to install that on mine.
I have a buddy that works at West End Motors that was able to hook me up with the installation. I recommend them to anyone in the northern VA area.

Clean looking Runner man! Congrats on the lift. Does the Toytec 3 use OME srpings out the rear??
Yes, they use OME springs in the front and rear. They are extremely helpful over the phone and will provide the best lift for your runner based on what you're looking for. Best kit for the price.

Looks clean man, just like my 4Runner. You should get some clear corners & clear signals lens also. Do the rear mud-flap removal mod, that'll make your 4Runner appear as if it sits even higher. Some LED tails would look good too...
I definitely like the clear corner look, especially on black 4Runners like ours. One thing at a time......... I tried to get the big things out of the way first, so now I can get down to more detailed options like headlights, clear corners, tail lights. I plan on eventually re-doing everything.

I was going to ask how has the larger tires affected your power, but then I see that you have a SC installed, so nevermind
Yes, its defintely nice to have that under your hood. I really have to be careful how I drive now because the engine wants to use the SC a lot more with the added lift. Mods + testosterone= poor gas mileage

In my opinion it's in way to good of condition to off-road it.. but that's just me.
Believe me, I am a huge fan of 4WD........ I tried to put $ into my 4runner that would improve its all around performance. I cleaned it up real nice for picture reasons only........ I definitely see some mud baths in my future!!

Just to let you know, you dont have to remove the S/C to put the 7th injector kit on..And if you installed the S/C then the fuel kit is a breeze..To me the tunning was the hard part..But I am new to computerized tunning ...

And by the way, Sweet runner...

Yeah, but you do have to remove the dynamic tensioner bracket, which is the part I'm worried about putting back because i'm using an aftermarket headbolt. For some reason TRD does not sell individual pieces of the kits, such as replacement bolts so I need to be careful. I don't know anything about computerized tuning either!!

Is that the the toytec lift with the 3" coils up front or the coil spacers?? I really want to lift mine soon im just having trouble deciding whether i want to go with the SS 7.1 or a Toytec. By the way your 4runner looks great.... I often times wish mine was black too

Yes this has the front and rear OME coils. It also uses 2 top plate spacers in the front to get the full 3" lift. Money was a concern when I was looking for a lift kit, and like I said before the toytec lift is the best kit for the price in my opinion. If you have the money to spend on the 7.1, you might want to go that route, I have heard nothing but good things about that on this forum. Just remember, if you buy the Toytec lift be sure to get the front diff drop kit too so you can relieve stress on the cv's. Black is nice when its clean, but it does show every flaw. I'm a big fan of the silver 4Runners like yours, they look great when lifted.

Boost, mean to ask you...do your 285s rub the upper A's any? I've seen cases where some members experience rubbing w/ 285s mounted on oem 16x7 wheels.

Yeah they do, but its the smallest amount when I have to make a sharp turn. I'm eventually going to shave it a little, but right now its not really noticeable. I'm glad too because that was a big worry of mine.

Runningboard debate: I played around with photoshop a little bit, and I know its not the best of jobs but I think it gets the point across: With or without?
