New Lift and Pics.....

It all started out with a flat tire. I wanted to get a lift eventually, so when I got a flat I figured the 4runner needs all new tires anyways, so why not just knock it all out at once (hey, any excuse right? ). So I bought the Toytec 3" lift (thanks Ric), and also got front and rear Bilstein HD's. For the tires, after much research thanks to this forum, I decided on 285/75/16 Nitto Terragrapplers. Overall I couldn't be happier with the result. Let me know what you guys think...... on with the pics:

The running boards will stay until I get some sliders to replace them (I don't think they look that bad anyways). Up next I plan on working with the exhaust. Not sure if I'm going to do just a muffler and tip, or a whole new system. All depends on the funds. I also have a 7th injector kit and Iridium spark plugs that I need to install, but I am dreading having to pay the hefty $$ for the dealership to put them in. Me and a buddy put on the supercharger about 6 months ago, and we had enough trouble with that. As I repeatedly tell my fiance when she asks about when I will be done with the 4runner......... It never ends!!

Looks good. You didn't happen to measure how much actual lift you ended up with, did you?

Love the truck and the lift was a huge diff since it looked like you had the shorter coils to start with. Good choice of tires too.

MAN i am jealous.

If you guys could handle the supercharger install, why couldn;t you do the URD kit? Its pretty straight forward! And i would also say get that kit on there ASAP. While it may not seem like its doing any damage in the short term, if its leaning out, you will find out later.

I know exactly what you mean about the fuel kit. I will get it on there one way or the other. When we were putting the supercharger on, nothing was easy. Every bolt was seized it seemed like. We had to use a head bolt from a '95 civic because the head bolt that came with the kit had such fine grooves that it became worn quickly when we tried to install it. On a seven year old vehicle there was a lot of rust and crap in the pre-existing hole that we had to clean out. I'm just nervous about taking everything off again, thats all.

Does that TRD license plate frame have little tabs on the bottom that keep the license plate from rattleing around?

BTW bad ass runner.

Looks clean man, just like my 4Runner. You should get some clear corners & clear signals lens also. Do the rear mud-flap removal mod, that'll make your 4Runner appear as if it sits even higher. Some LED tails would look good too...

Boostin00, nice choice of mods! I like the fact that you got tires installed at the same time as the lift. 4Runner looks really nice.

I was going to ask how has the larger tires affected your power, but then I see that you have a SC installed, so nevermind
