New guy... 86 reg cab

Hey guys, been lurking for a while now, figured i'd post since i'm starting to want to go further with my truck.

It's an 86 22R 5 speed, stock height, 31" tires, bumpers, bars, etc.

I really cant find anyone online that sells parts for these trucks (maybe im looking in the wrong places) but i'd like some more lift out of it etc.

interested to see what others have done with their single cabs

thanks a lot!

aftermarket for toyotas is huge! the thing is that most of it isn't bolt-on like it is for jeeps, so you'll have to put some effort into it and it helps to know how to weld:

Welcome aboard.

What do you want to do to your truck? What kind of trails are you gonna run, daily driver or not? Tell us more about what you are wanting to end up with in the end and we can help you out a little better.

Well, it is my daily drvier, so i dont want to do anything too ridiculous. At the moment im thinking a 3in body lift and some 33"s, im on 15x10.5 inch wheels right now on 31"s. Then in about a month or so a 4inch IFS lift. and going up to 35"s.

My biggest qualms are daily driving this truck, it is balls slow, i know its supposed to be, but maybe gearing is my problem, i need to check that thread to see what my stock gears are.

thanks guys!
