New Gadget

Picked it up on CraigsList for $40.00 still with the original papers wrapped around it. Woman said it was sitting in her fathers barn.

Got it mounted using my old Yakima clips for my bike racks

I had a similar find for the same cost. An older gentleman had a 48" Hi-Lift and cover unused for $40, deal for me! Great find Craigslist FTW!

One suggestion, only leave it up there in the weather when you're going to use it. Mine rusted pretty quickly and was a pain to clean up. Before I cleaned and lubed it back up, it wouldn't latch and lift. a real pain when trying to use it to fix my bro's Bronco on the trail...

Next time use a towel between the truck and the Jack

Really nice find looks like one of the great old American versions rather than the
Cheap Japanese version! Farm/Railroad Jacks are essential with our trucks on the trail!

i usually take it off when its gonna be bad outside, i dont leave it up there all the time.

just put it up there to see if the bolts and stuff would clear it and hold it, and thought hey, might as well snap a few pictures while im at it!
