Arrow new forum member here

I would just like to introduce myself to the group. I have a 1996 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4WD. I enjoy working on cars and my brother and I do all our own work (he has a 94 6spd Dodge Stealth Twin Turbo seen here runs 12.5 @ 109mph so far) I usually spend most of my time playing with my 94 Supra with a single SP57 turbo here (too fast for words)...I never really gave much thought to modifying my 4Runner. With toyota offering the TRD Supercharger at a nice price last November, I couldn't resist so here I am!

Mods: TRD Supercharger, TRD tranny cooler, TRD boost gauge, K&N filter, 2002 style headlights, 2002 style grille, clear corners

Lots of pics on my website here:
http://moojohn.com/doug/cars3.html
(pics before and after 2002 style grille/headlights...)

I would like to thank Jason Burtman for showing me this forum

I hope I will be able to contribute to the group!

Welcome to the forum!!
I was wondering what a 02 grille would look like on a 96&97 (because they have a different bumper). Looking good!!

Nice Supra too, one day, in the distant future I hope to own one.

When I first read the post about having a supra I thought it was bs. Cuz a lot of people lie about having a supra. But after looking at the link and the name, I was sure of it. Kind of a small world because I've seen you Doug on supraforums and on the mkiv mailing list. Glad to see you around!!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys...

As for "get your wallet ready..." I've been through (still going through) that with my Supra *haha* I have about $10k in it over the price of the car (yes I bought mine BEFORE the stupid Fast and the Furious movie so I didn't over pay )...

I paid $1750 for the TRD Supercharger...ended up being right around $2k for the supercharger, tranny cooler, and boost gauge...from toyotaparts4u.com
Took about 4-5hours to put it on...I love it...best thing I coulda done to it

I never really had the idea to do a lot of modifications to my 4Runner...I originally bought it for my girlfriend at the time (I'm a sucker I know)...but I'm the kind of person that just can't leave a vehicle stock *hahah*...

Right now I'm planning on getting the Performance Products front lower spoiler with the round fog lights...all the pics I've seen of it on 4Runners look great! I'm still debating on the hood with the scoop...at first I really wanted it...then I was told the scoop wasn't functional!!?!!?!! Thats a big let down...the least they could do is have it open to help air flow or something...

The only other thing I'm missing is the darn cargo cover *LOL*...
So if anyone knows where I can get a "blue/gray/moonmist" cargo cover..lemme know (and no I'm not paying $400 from Toyota!)
