Yeah actually our Church has a cabin in Disney and I go to Grand Lake/Disney often. Now that you mention there being some stuff there I think I recall where it's at now and I've heard of it before. In June we're taking the Jr Highers to the cabin in Disney for youth camp. Maybe I'll have to take the Runner and check it out.

Enigma,

If you already have 31's on your 4runner, then I would concentrate (unless they are bald) on removing the running boards (before a rock does ) mounting sliders, and installing a locking differential in the rear. You will be amazed where your truck will go set-up like that, trust me

For the sliders, you should seriously consider buying a properly engineered set, as the manufacture has tested fit, and clearances when impacting rocks, etc. They are very reasonably priced given the engineering and manufacturing time involved. It is worth the $$$.

Expedition -

Welcome to YotaTech and NICE site man! I'm moving back to Tucson, AZ in August, and I hope to hook up with you on one of these awesome adventures. I'm originally from
T-Town, and I know all of the good MTB spots (50 year, white tank, Butter-Fly, Sag. East and West). However, I don't know any of the 4x4 spots (exception = The Gap, and Dunes) because I never had a 4x4. Now I have a '95 runner, and I will be looking for some fun...

I have spent four years in the AF as well, but as Weather Forecaster. So if you need a "GOOD" Wx Cast, I'm your man. I'm getting out to pursue what you have already accomplished in the AF. I'm testing for the Tucson Fire Dept. in January. Sorry to Hijack, but I couldn't help myself

Rugby10,

Lets do some riding! I just picked up a new Epic FRS full suspension the other day and I love it. That "brain" shock valving technology is sweet!

It would be great to take you out on a few adventures. I am doing a three day exploration of the Chiricahua mountains in eastern AZ this weekend. A very cool place.

I spent 4 years in the Air Force too, and worked as a structural firefighter/EMT. The time spent doing that was great, and paid for my education. Good luck as a firefighter.

Shoot me an e-mail when you get in town, and we will hook-up!

Thanks! Drive the truck out and play in AZ. You could even hit Moab on the way

You're doing the Chiri's this weekend?? Lucky dog! I really miss that place. It's a little more effort for me to get there these days You should be able to see alot of cool stuff in 3 days. What is your plan? What areas are you planning on visiting? (this is getting waaaay off topic...) That place is magic.

Hey Rugby, congrats on getting back to the ol pueblo and good luck with the TFD.

Hey Senior Taco

Yep, Doron and I (and families) are going to explore a trail in Chiri's that we had to turn back from last time due to time. It was kind of technical (for expedition rigs) an near the confluence of the Pine Canyon and Pinery canyon trails (about N31 58.16' W109 19.20') I was near a christian camp as I recall, but I didnt record waypoints when I was there

We are going to set-up a base camp and just relax and explore. The weather is going to be perfect (another AZ day )

Here is an old write-up that I did the last time I was there. I think there are a few videos of Doron's UZJ100 and my Discovery climbing a small shelf on the trail we are going to return to.

I was so impressed by the place the last time I was there that I am really excitted to go back!
