New exhaust

I just got my Flowmaster 40 series muffler put in a couple of days ago. I went with 2.5" pipe from the muffler back and only had a single exit seeing as dual would cause too many problems. It is possible but not very logical for my model. Anyway the sound is great and it makes a huge difference. I would suggest an exhaust upgrade to anyone who wants that lovely note to sing while you're riding down the road.

Well, I see that you have joined the club of happy and satisfied customers who have had exhausts installed and love every inch of them! I love mine and know many here love theirs. I am glad to hear that you love yours. You will get addicted and you will drive around with your head hanging out of the window! You will get used to it! :fireman:

yeah it does sound beefy. I think I accomplished the V8 sound I was looking for. It's hard for me to decide what to listen to anymore. Between the bass from my subs, the hum from my tires and the roar of my exhaust it's a definite toss up. But I can't complain about having to make this decision.

Exactly...I have bass, loud tires, and the Magnaflow.
Sometimes it's nice to cruise with the windows down in nice weather and just listen to the muffler purrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Hopefully I'll be hittin' the beach at Alki in Seattle tomorrow (candid bikini shots perhaps  ) to get a little relaxing in.

Enjoy your new tunes...

New here. I just got my new exhaust on Monday. Magnaflow from Stans in Auburn (been reading up on Corey's page).
Sounds real good. They sure do good work. Can't wait to take a long drive to just listen to it purrrrr.

Hey Corey, seein' as how you're gonna be up in Seattle for a bit, why don't you go another couple hours and meet up with us in B.C. on Wednedsay August 7th?

It'd be an honor to see your shiny 4Runner up close and personal. Oh, and nice to meet you too lol.
