I don't know if open headers will give much more than a headache. The exhaust is "free flowing" now. I do run mufflers though. In fact, I have two straight through Magnaflows on. One 18" in the "test pipe" and a 24" in the rear. It's nice and quiet around town (sleeper effect you see) but when you nail it and get on boost, that's another story. My friends say it doesn't sound like a V6. I asked one what it sounds like going down the track and he just said "mean".
I have a one gallon tank for the Aquamist and it lasts for a surprisingly long time. I took a 2000 mile trip a couple of months ago and still had mix in the tank when I got back. It all depends on how long you stay in boost. I have it set to come on at 5psi boost. I was running the .8mm nozzle and just switched over to the .9mm nozzle. That will use more mix but not that much more. The other day I made 5 dyno runs and 5 passes at the track and used maybe a quart.
The young man with the Hemi was pissed to say the least. His problem was that he made such a big deal about his truck before the races started. He had intake and exhaust mods and was cranking it up for people gathered round and revving it while we were parked in line waiting to race. I didn't even lift my hood. After the race, he was telling people that the "ricer truck" was running nitrous. My friend was there when he said that and told him "Dude, you got beat by Grandpa driving a V6 4X4 automatic running nothing but gasoline". Next thing we know, he's gone. We never saw him race again.

My generation REALLY needs to learn humility... Had that been me in the HEMI, I'd have gone straight over to you after the run and shook your hand and then asked 'what did you do to this thing to make it so fast??'
of course ive been competing for a long long time now in sporting clays...heheeh
wait a minute - you ran a 14.2 and raped him....what did he run? Mid 15s to high 15s? How does the rumble bee compare to the standard hemi? More hp?
ps - the first race give you a good adrenaline rush?

Same engine, same HP just a wing on the tailgate( at least this one had a wing), ground effects and badging.
Yeah after I got off the gas on that run my Viagra kicked in and I got such a woody I could hardly turn the steering wheel!! Not really but it was a blast. Something us old farts can still have fun with.
