Has anyone had a good experience with replacing the carpet in their runner? The kits all seem to be about 300 but has anyone done it yet? Mine is really beat up but I''m keeping the truck so I want to get it replaced. Thanks for the input.

 

Is it physically worn or just faded? They can be painted.

 

I wanted to change mine also but thought of doing the rubber look like the older chevy trucks so if there is dirt just sweep it out any one did that or whats some feedback with that one.

 

I have detailed cars for 4 years in the past. Like Teuf said they can be painted. And tracmstr the rubber look is also nice for clean up but can hold dirt in the pours of the rubber so it kinda always looks dirty then if you use like something like armour all it make is very slick on the feet lol

 

I have not replaced my carpet yet, but I really need to. If you end up buying a replacement set, let me know how it works out!

 

can you find precut carpet for our runners anywhere? any links?

I've been thinking about doing this, seems like a big undertaking though...

I found the link mentioned above (http://www.stockinteriors.com/items....-Runner_Carpet) and I wonder if anyone has used it? Mine is torn and worn through in a couple places, mats were removed and not replaced until i bought it.
