Awesome, you can definately count me in on the kit, I can't stand the site of my rear bumper now, with the dents and paint and all, as soon as you start taking orders, I will be in!

BruceTS,

Any word on a release date of the bumper? Will it have a class 3 hitch?

Wow, I really wish I wasnt a poor college student right now. That is the best rear bumper I've ever seen, and I love the look with the stock plastic insert. Great job! I'll buy one eventually...

I want one too! My stock bumper is just starting to rust now, plus having the hitch built in would solve a lot of issues with the stock one as well.

It's been quite hot here lately, so the time I spend working on the bumper on my weekends off, has been slow. I got a line on possibly getting another manufacturer to laser cut and bend the side wings, but I still need to make another prototype before sending the templates out. I'll try and get the materials in a few weeks to begin. I will put a kit together for sale once I get the wings produced...

the dang heatwave we've had, has kept me from working on any of my outdoor projects. I don't like welding in 115+ degree temp...... I really need an air conditioned shop, so I can get things rollin. At least this weekend has been cooler, but next week it's supposed to get hot again!

sorry I haven't replied, but I had to put the bumper on hold due to family problems this past year. To make a long story short my mother has been on the verge of passing away since January, but managed to hold on til last month when she died the saturday before thanksgiving. I've been dealing with all the financial issues and the cost of burial, so I haven't had the time or the $$$ to persue this project.

On a good note I'm gonna clean up my garage to make room so I can set up my workshop. I'll take a before and after picture, since I do claim to have the messiest garage ever.....

I share Jim's thoughts about your Mother. Sorry to hear that!

Any chance you are going to hit up the Demello BBQ in Corona in Jan. I don't have any of his stuff but he is a great guy and its free food.
