New 3.4L break in oil consumption

About 2500 miles. What oil did they fill the '04Tacos with, and how low should it be?
Thanks,
Peter

I'll be using Mobil1 w OEM oil filters for the duration @ 5k. The fact is, the truck only has 2500 miles, and I have'nt actually checked the oil yet. We all know about the diferent break in theories. I'm gonna guess it's at least 1/2 qt low when I go down and check it. The motor has been resting over 2 hours. Will report back shortly..

Oil check @ 57 mile ODO reading read full...

Seems to level out on the dipstick as about 1/3 qt. low. Nobody knows what oil they're filling the '04 tacocs with? If it's dino, I hope it's Castrol...

If yours is anything like my 02 you should have 5.5 qts. of 5W-30.
Don't know what kind of dino oil they put in there but I know they have their own designated OEM brand though
