JSpec 4Runner:

Is that your 4Runner in the top pic? If so, can you tell me what rims/tires those are? They look really nice ....

I know what you are saying about customizing to make it yours...I did some work on mine for that reason....

I was really thinking about dropping my yota there for a while, but then I started to look at clearance and whatnot between the axles and frame and decied against it. I AM however seriously eyeballing dubs... Nothing like yota's with 20"+ of chrome rim.

ok HOW MUCH would a 3.0 to 3.4 swap cost me at my local mechanics shop supposing I had the 3.4L sitting ready to go in? Any ballpark figures? I'm checking those links right now, but if anyone has any ideas, please post.

Steve

JLSubThumper, one reason you're not getting many answers is because not very many people have done the things you want to do. I'm guessing less than 5% of the people on the boards (not only this one) have actually lowered their 4runners, especially 2nd gens. Also, I have yet to see a writeup on a 3.4L swap into a 2nd gen (although, I haven't been looking very hard).

Good luck,
Steve
