So, after looking at the hood scoop debating if there is something that can be done with it, an idea hit me. On the rear wing of my 04 the stop light is approximately the same size as the scoop in the hood. Would it look wack if i put a clear light from the rear deck in the scoop in the hood as an alternate light?

Sounds possible but it might be illegal something to check on before you do it.

 

Hmmm...that's an idea, although it could probably be used for off-road only. ALso, could be a glare issue as its right on the hood. I was also looking at that useless hood bulge and pondering uses for it as well. Did you see my thread about putting a Garmin GPS in the sunglasses holder (4th gen 4Runner w/Homelink/overhead lights console)? I think that would also be a sweet mod for those who don't want a bunch of in-cab accessories hanging all over the dashboard. Fold it down when you need it, close it when you don't.

 

How about making a bird feeder?
