Need some help!!!!!!!!!!
I have a 89 SR5 and just had a motor built (3.0) w/ high comp pistons, doa cams, downey intake work and tb, downey headers, port/polished heads, jacobs pro street, msd 8.5's, denso irid's, electric fan and home made intake pipe.................Well as i almost got the truck back together when getting ready to put the top hat (intake) on i picked it up off my workbench when low and behold
there lays the top rear engine plate that go's between the bell housing and block.... i put the lower one on when the motor was still out but forgot all about this one because it was hiding....So my question is what do you think would happen if i took the lower one out and ran it like that.....lot of work to either pull the motor or drop the tranny. I think the only real problem would be the starter not meshing up right, also fear of damaging the tranny or the rear main seal..........Any help would be great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
