Need Line Identifying Help on 99

I have a 99 4Runner SR5 . There is 2 metal lines coming up on passenger/middle side of engine bay on the fire wall , had 2 rubber lines attacthed to them but now they are removed with bolts stuck in the ends . What would these go to ? Can get pics Wed if needed to clarify what I am talking about . Thanks

Heater coil was leeaking and the guy did not want to replace it. You will have to before winter if you want to have heat.

Well, If it's the rear, then it could be the tubes themselves (pretty common as they are exposed to salt as they run along the bottom of the truck) or the rear core or both. The rear heater was a factory option so a lot of people do just fine without it.
