I just replaced my battery in my 4runner. It was dead as crap but my keyless is also not working well. I think the button's are pushed in my pocket some times and also stick held down..(read that from another thread) anyways im bout to head out in a lil bit and go try to get a battery to replace it. What size if anyone knows.. i guess just a regular watch battery? also if i dont know how to do it.. i tend to break ˟˟˟˟˟ so however supid it sounds cuz i havent seen anyone else post it.. to replace the 99 factory keyless remote do u just pry it open with a screw driver. Im also planning on replacing breaks today and my back upper light has been out since i bought my 4runne so i wanna replace that also.. any thing i should know about doing the light part???(already changed breaks before.) Anyways i really dont wanna screw my keyless up so can anyone help me out real fast???

 

8 people cant tell me how to replace the battery's in my keyless??? ight well ill go to radio shack and see if they can help me out

 

Never mind.. i got it all done. All i had to do was just split open the keyless an the battery was right now.. i replaced it and now its good as new. (strength wise) also replaced the back light and it looks alot better now when i hit the break/lights. anyways out and about to try to find something else to fix on my boring saturday. Cya later me and whoever else reads this.
