Need lift help fast.

When installing the front coils, did you acidentily flip the coil seats that are on the shock upside down? This will give more lift that wanted. It is also not a good thing, they are not designed to be used this way.

There was a good writeup on this, with pictures. I can't find it now.

881's should lift 2.5" over stock height on a 2002. However, they will settle to about 2".

That's a good point, I have the Tundra/TRD in the front so not an issue but I heard about this, if you flip the seat around you get more lift than wanted and I would assume not secure.

X's 2.

I have the 882's on my '02 and they gave right at 3" of lift in the front. Combined with the shorter LC coils in the rear (3.75" of lift) and it looks perfect. If you were trying to match the 2" of lift you have in the rear, the 882's might not have been the right choice.

Double check the installation. If they're installed correctly, then either go higher in the rear or look into the OME 881 coils.
