Maybe the recent cold weather has something to do with it, I dunno. But I get this bad squell, sounds just like a squecky belt. But I only hear it when driving, and even then only when I'm not gassing the motor. It squecks only when coasting above 20 mph. Sounds like its coming from underneath the vehicle. So what do you guys think? Is it the belts? Or something to go with the driveshaft?? BTW 98 4x4 w/ 3.4. And I'll look up how to spell squell right now. TIA!!

 

I assume you mean squeal, as in a high pitched noise? I'd pop the hood and have somebody rev the motor (not too much, not too long....) and see if you can't hear it better.... hopefully it is just some belts slipping... while you're add it check all your fluids, if you're not sure how look in the technical articles section of yotatech.
