Need to do a clutch on the 98 taco. Should I stick with Toyota factory clutch or is there and aftermarket one that is recomended. I'll search the threads but I thought a quick new thread might be a good idea.

I have recently done a lot of research on this because after I put in my S/C my clutch started to slip under the new power.

I have checked out:
OEM, new about $380 from toyota
OEM, reman about $190 from TOR (a member who works at a toyota dealer in TX)
Centerforce, not recommended by a few people who have them
ACT, new about $450 (high pressure plate)
Southbend, about $400 (kevlar disk, HD plate, should last 3 times as long as OEM and it has worked flawlessly on a Supra pushing 800hp)

I am going to order a Southbend tomorrow, Maybe we could get a discount if we get 2???Call me
