My Running Boards Story

This is my 2cents - if anybody wants or is thinking about taking them off.
It took me about an hour and a half. I found it easier to sit indian style and face the truck. Then feel my way though loosening the bolts. Rather than getting under it. The bolts are 13mm, you will need a deep socket for 2 of them.
The bolts that hold the wheel well section are 10mm.
Spending $50 bucks on mud flaps wasn't in the cards for me so I took the front running board section off and cut it to appear that it is part of the fender flare.
I will get pictures tomorrow, to dark right now. It looks pretty good. If I didn't know that I did it - it would be hard to figure out.

Over and out -Dave

hour and a half ? what the hell did you stop for a burger and fries halfway ?

2 running boards off in 45 seconds. one air gun, one socket, on my back on the ground. [grit goggles for my eyes so it wouldn't take 55 seconds].

1999 limited
