I am sure this question has been asked many times but i just need to get some reassurance. I drive a 1997 4runner with 265/75 r16 on it now. i need to get new tires before the winter sets in, and i would like to go bigger with my tires. i do plan on lifting my 4runner in the future but i need to get tires first. I have really been considering going with the 255/85 r16. what are some other suggestion of sizes that i could go with. i have done some research and i belive that the 255 will fit with out a lift so is that my best option for now?

 

i would love to see pictures with the 255/55 r16 on a stock ride hight 4runner. i appreciate any suggestions.
