My new tires/wheels/lift

Well, I finally got it at least presentable. In the near future will be a 1" BL, an alpine x001 deck, and bumpers. I just put the wheels and tires on and am planning on selling the oem sport wheels if anyone is interested... They will be in the classifieds section shortly, maybe even today. It all depends on how ambitious I'm feeling. I'm extremely happy with how it looks and drives except for the bad balance job the tire shop did. Anyway, let me know what you all think.

And before the wheels and tires

Those look great! Great price on the wheels. I will have to check out Summit for some 15x10's on my '81
x2 on the rubbing--any problems at full compression during a turn?

The bighorns are awesome. They ride ten times better than my old bfg at ko's and they were cheap! They are 255/85/16 and yes, a little rubbing but only when turning at compression. I'm planning on a 1" body lift so that should take care of some of that. They seriously soak up bumps a lot better than my old tires at the same psi so I'm happy.

What are the specs on those wheels? Did you have to put backspacers on because of your bigger calipers?

I got mine off ebay. They were under 600 for all four tires which I thought was pretty reasonable.

On summit they say they only have 16x7 in our bolt pattern but when they came they were actually 8 inches wide. Oh, and the backspace is 4 inches.

I'm running the stock tundra shocks

Do you have the 4.56 or 4.3 gearing? I thought about doing with larger tires-but the 4runner already wheezes with stockers and 4.3 gearing. If there were a economical way to upgrade to 4.56, I would without losing the rear locker.

...you might have 4.10 gearing as well? It seems pretty uncommon to come from the factory with 4.56 gears, but, they did do it.

I got 4.30's and run 35's w/o problems.

I'm sure barbakos has factory 4.10 gearing on his '02 Sport...unless he regeared of course.

I'd like to up mine to 4.56s eventually...

Yeah, I have 4.10's. I definitely notice it too with the new tires.
