Don't let that stop you...I take it you did not read Iceman601's write up (his link is posted in my write up by the way. ):

Another Field Monitor Install

He purchased a grey model and painted it to match his tan interior. Looks almost factory.

Yeah you are right I did not make it to that other writeup yet-the color does not worry me, it's all that danged wiring to install. This is me- the guy who struggled with the "deck plate mod" and the "rear diff breather extension"
and I don't even do my own brakes! thank god for my passengers sake....

Dude, you crack me up!

EDIT: If you still want to buy a Field Monitor, here's one currently for sale: For Sale

Granted, it's about $200 US dollars, but hey, it's for sale.

If I remember correctly, a member here purchased a FM to install in his '01 Taco. He PM'd me about a few general questions he had about the FM itself, but he never followed up with me on it to let me know whether or not he was able to install it.

Therefore, I will NOT say 'Yes, they will fit'. It's best not to assume anything in this game . I need to look at the inside of the roof line of a Taco to see how it compares to mine to be 100% certain if it will fit or not.
