Great looking truck. Now get some sliders, and a front bumper with winch and you will be set.

The ride is great! I can feel the small bumps a little bit more now, but the handling is a lot better. Also the powerloss is not very not noticable at all (well very slightly) 0-50mph but 50-70mph is where I feel the powerloss.

My last two tanks of gas I have been getting about 17.3mpg! But here is the weird thing with my 4runner, my gas light will come on having gone about 230 miles on the odo.which is about 264.8 miles (because of the tires 33's)and then I will only have to put in 15 gallons of gas. So the gas light comes on with about 4.5 gallons left? It doesn't seem right. 1998's do have 19.5 gallons tanks, right?

i thought they were 18.5.

either way i always keep no less than half a tank, for emergencies (since its our only 4wd vehicle and we live in earthquake country)

lift looks awesome!!! i hear ya about the spring compressors, i just manned up and did mine, but next time ill be using 2 sets!

Yea man, I first started doing the old strut and I just couldn't do it by myself using a racheting wrench, an impact wrench would have been nice!

Just thought I would update everyone: Well I have had the lift on for about 5 months and I am 100% pleased with it. The rear coils have settled and it performs tremendously on and offroad. Also I am getting between 16-17MPG in the city. I have not had any problems with CV's whatsover, even though my CV's are 9 years old. Here are some some recent pictures, (sorry no clean ones)

About time...it looks great. How much did the rear coils settle approximately?
