My lift has begun!!

You're getting all this stuff to enhance the off road capabilities (for example the rear bumper that you don't care what it looks like) and then getting revos? They're basically street tires. Why no muds or at least bfg ATs?

Yeah, I've always had a bit of trouble trying to justify the limiting straps. Seems like there are ALOT of people running 3 inches of lift, without limiting straps, and I've never heard of anyone having any trouble. I mean, its a great safety precaution, but I'd spend my money on other things first.

I'm pretty sure limiting straps came out mainly for baja trucks or vehicles that repeatedly fully extend their shocks, such as being airborn. It just prevents the shock from coming apart when fully extended, bascially.

I installed my 285/75R16's today, because I just couldn't wait, and I only had to drive home. They definitely rub, because I don't have any lift yet, but the lift will be here tomorrow. I can't wait to get it all on. I figured tomorrow, before I get a chance to put the lift on, I'll trim whatever I need to on the fenders to make it not rub, even at stock height. This way I'll know for sure that it won't rub when I have 3"+ lift.
I just have to say the tires look really good, and I went with the white lettering out. I'll have some pictures to post tomorrow.

Oops, I forgot to mention that my limiting straps also came in today, even though I don't really need them since I'm using the stock shocks for right now until I can get the OME's.

How do you get the pictures to work, because I clicked the img button, and then entered in the location of the pics, and they show up on my computers no problem.
At any rate, here's the links for the three pictures:
