My Balls Are Gone!!! :(

....No seriously.

My upper ball joints are shot...

Due to them being shot from the suspension lift, I cannot get my camber aligned. The tops of the front tires point outward from the car, and the lower cam is completely turned out.

So.... what do I do? I checked at Toyota, and it costs $51 per ball joint.

Seems like if I was going to go through the trouble of replacing them, I might as get some new upper a-arms.

What should I get : Total Chaos, All-pro ... what?

So, im guessing they have A-arms?

Or are you talking about the ball joints?

Could you just tell me what the price is for the a-arms? (upper only) and the ball joints? I cant wait much longer, my tires are getting shot, and I have a lot of driving ahead of me in the next month.

Im going on my yearly baja surf trip, and thats a good 800 miles each way... :/

I just checked the site, I know they have limited stuff on there, but, they only had the 2nd gen a-arms.

Maybe, I'll just call them up in the morninga nd see how much they'll cost.

Anyone else have any opinions on this?

Chaos arms are more $ than Camburg but you have to give them credit for being the first to bring this product to market. Camburg has one advantage though and that is that they use a F-911 (super strong) 5/8" bolt with custom misalignment spacers that allows more angularity than other arms that use 3/4" bolt. I think Kartek carries both so try calling Mike or Pat and they can fill you in more...

I just picked up some new ball joints at Advanced Auto Parts/Checker for $23 a piece. They are excellent quality upon inspection, TRW I believe is the brand... they come from Japan so they should be good! My Toyota dealer said $37 a piece. Good Luck... I'm having fun getting the ball joints installed.... so will you!
