Update
After railing on my rig for the better part of a year and driving 10,000 miles off-road I had to make some choices. Take my current ride up a notch or sell it and start newer or SA. Well, I have decided to take my 98 down the road of no return in more ways than one.
ARB RD-90: Done
4:88 Yukon gears: Done
1.5 RB BL: Done
Camburg A-arms: Pass
Sonoran Steel lower links: Done
3 piece rear bumper: Went with a ONE
Reworked front bumper: Done and rock work added
BudBuilt skids- DONE/Modded/Replaced Belly once
Subbs sliders-DONE/Destroyed/Replaced
Gas tank skid-DONE
KM2 35's mounted on MT-Classic II-Done
LineX rockers- DONE
Diamond plate rocker panels and fender trim-Done
Raise the bar on the driver, mods can be overrated- Working on it
Thanks SS Steve for the advice and direction.
Stay tuned.

Rocker Protection
A few weeks ago I tore a passenger fender clean off falling into a rock rut. I decided at that point that the Limited trim's days were numbered as may be my entire 4Runner. I removed all the remaining cladding while covering the remaining holes with aluminum decals. Line-X dealer and I figured out the lines and decided to hit the door sills as well.

Who knew a Line-x guy could be an artist? That is very well done and well thought out. Great rig!!!

Hope I get the chance to check it out this weekend! I (as well as many others) can vouch for the front arb locker, budbuilts, and 4.88's. You'll be very happy with those new additions.
btw, saturday's a go. I'll be driving the Toyota.

Installed the 1.5 BL and bushing kit from 4Crawler, Stubbs sliders, Bud skids and assorted Sonoran Steel suspension components. The installs took me the better part of two weekends. The diamond rockers were finished the week in between.
BL Shot
Diamond trim
Vehicle damage:
The armor looked good for all of 48hrs before being bashed for 4 straight days. Both skids need to be bent back to shape; the belly pan was pushed into the transfer case and front was torqued a bit. The sliders were dented and the passenger side bent. Looking back I should have gone with HD Stubbs sliders. Mine are still 100% functional. I can’t imagine if they weren’t there.
The rock below the rear quarter is what snagged
My metal guy made me a temporary bumper for the Chile Challenge to keep rocks off my hatch. Despite being paper thin, the square tubing held up and prevented some body damage. As show above the lower quarters took some abuse given no coverage.
Next stop: ARB RD-90, Yukon 4:88, 315/75R16 KM2 and a new rear bumper
