My 3rd gen 4runner pic

After being on this board for over a year, I finnaly got a digital camera. So heres some pics of my truck. I know people are gonna say get rid of the running boards, I plan to. My family is short, so Im waiting for my work bonus to pay for some SS side step tubes. I just added the billet grill yesterday.

Let me know what you guys think. What should be next for it. Check out my sig as what I have done so far. I actually want to lift it higher, and put in a rear locker this summer.

No biggie. I always get asked if its 4wd. I tell them I wish it was. All I need is to buy some fender flares to pass the local saftey inspection

Not true. You still have to worry about ball joints and tie rods. If you go over 3" you will trash your ball joints quite rapidly and your tie rods will be at a funky angle and it won't steer quite as well. Plus with that much lift your a-arms will be darn near fully extended so you will loose all of your down travel resulting in your suspension topping out on the bumpstops all the time.

nice runner! the grill looks good. IMHO, some fender flares would be a good addition, those tires stick out pretty far....or an S/C!

whats the english equivalent of a 305/70?

Hey BigKahuna808, does HPD hassel you about not having flares? Your 4Runner looks bad a$$!!! Funny how I never saw it on the road except for the one time we met up in Kalihi.

True the joints get all messed up with the massive lifts, thats why you have to buy the whole front end kits off the tacomas. People ussaly buy the Fabtech front lifts and do a custom rear lift.

I would love to super charge it, but my miles are to high. I came across a 1st gen kit for $1000. Had to pass though, since I have all that milage. The tires don't stick out that far unless you look at the mudflap. To answer Hawaiian4R I havent gotten stoped yet (knock on wood), Im gonna have to update my Recon this summer though. IM actually looking into another set of rims, I want to go wider 16.5"x12" welds. But from what I hear weld isnt making thoes sizes anymore. So I might buy some Reals.

305/70/16= roughly about the 33"x12.50"s by 16"

I'll get the stereo pics up this weekend, with the seats and the interior. I wan the fender flares but I kinda want the OEM ones. But most likely Im gonna rub on them. This I might resort to the bushwackers.

Thanks for the input guys

Thanks for the update on the fender flares, but I gotta save money. This summer I have to overhaul my motor. Change the timming belt, seals, ect..... Thats gonna make more poor than Micheal Jackson when hes done with his case.
