Is my 2001 4Runner a Sport or not?

Hey guys,

I always wondered about this.
My 2001 does not have any Sport badging on it at all, but I think it is one.
Is my 4Runner missing something that would make it a Sport model or not?

I have the moonroof, running boards, matching body-colored fender flares and bumpers....etc...

On another note, does anyone where I can actually get the Sport badging?
Thanks all!!!

They came on the '02 models. The dealer has them.

Looks like a sport to me. I have seen the "sport" badge on the front doors below the side view mirrors right above the indentation.

None came from the motherland with superchargers. They were either dealer add-ons or installed by owner after purchase.

Ditto......those rims only came on sports or LTDs and the scooped hood was not available on the LTDs.

The silver trim on the dash was only on the '02s wasn't it?

Otherwise you could turn any Runner into a Sport with rims and a hood swap. That was what really bugged me that there was no true hard wired item that designated a sport model like more ponies.
At least in '99 the monochrome paint (only in Jade and black) was the ringer of that year and it did have sport seats.

The Sport models also came with a bit lower gear ratio. They came with 4:10's

The 4.10 final drive I don't think is Sport specific since the Limiteds have that ratio too.

True. But that was one of the items that made it different from an SR5.

Not necessarily. My 01 SR5 came with 4.10's.
IIRC, 99-up limiteds came w/ 4.30's.

I dont recall any coming with a lower (numerically) gear-ratio than that.
