Mud Flaps

Pardon my ignorance on this one but I just purchased a 2001 Taco Xcab which seems to have lost it right front mud flap. I went to Toyota to purchase a new one and they told me it was $76.00. I said to the part man I did'nt want all 4 flaps and much to my amazement he stated that was the price for one.
I am not cheap but I'm not stupid either. Is there another place to get a mudflap that has the ofset for the inside the fender well? I looked at regular after market flaps and they were not something I wanted to use. I was hopng someone else made a mudflap that had the offset like the OEM.

Any help would be appreciated.

Is your rig still under the 3/36K mile warranty? If so, I had a service manager tell me that they would have covered my missing flap under warranty.

Common problem. Your best bet is a couple Pep Boys flaps because you are going to lose more if you do any off-roading at all - trust me.

Yes, the OEM flaps are that much at the Stealer. Crooks.

If you want OEM flaps for less than stealership prices check ebay and the various Toyota boards. I see them for sale all the time.

I didn't realize how easy they come off until I backed up over a common street curb at work. Tore the front passenger side flap right off. I heard it come off and only had to bolt it back on.

If I had been elsewhere with my widow rolled up or radio on, I would have never known. I think I paid 60 dollars for it at the dealer here.

When I bought the truck it was missing a front and back. I didn't know why at the time. Now I know. If I knew then what I know now, I would have just made some myself, because I am sure to lose one eventually.

Be glad that it comes off easily. If it didn't it, it would screw your fender up by yanking them out of alignment. I speak from experience.
