Motorweek completes long term testing 03 'Runner
MotorWeek just completed it's long term testing of the 2003 4Runner V8 Sport.
The 26 December show has the completion results and the truck did very well. They finished with 17.1 MPG after 22,000 miles in one year.
The long term testing diary and road test is here. I guess they haven't updated the website with the completion yet.

My TiVo did not record the show so I missed it.
What was the overall impression of the vehicle?
Was there any mention of all the complaints like the stinky exhaust?

They rated it highly and said everyone on the staff was sorry to see it go. No mention of any of the reported problems and they basically regurgitated whats posted on the their website already.
They did show it going through some pretty deep snow on a trail that was cool.
