Moisture

Apparently I have moisture between my driver's side floor and the carpet. Not standing water just a stinky smell and a little dampness. I'm not sure what's causing it. My driver's side from right seat bolts is all messed up (it just spins in place but won't come out/it's loose). Could the moisture be getting in from there? There is some rust there as well. Anyway, just wondered if anyone has ever experienced anything like this. TIA

Take a hose and run the water over the grill thing where your windshield wipers attach, and see if it runs down from the top of the firewall into your cab. Otherwise just cut the bolt and put in a new one.

Look under the hood check the break and clutch master cylinders for fluid, some times when they go bad they leak on the in side under the dash and will make the carpet wet. The bolt has a nut that is allegedly tack welded to the body but if the weld breaks you are going to have to get vice grips on the nut. Good luck!
