Mobil1 ATF syn

I posted in the maintance forum already and someone there told me not to use it due to the fact that it doesn't work well with our trannies, I wanted to find out if anyone else has had a problem with Mobil1 ATF?

My truck is a 2000 V6 4wd with about 96K on her.

I am one of those unfortunate 3rd gen 4Runner owners who had to have the tranny rebuilt after 85K and I tow nothing. Anyway they put Amsoil synthetic in after the rebuild and it seems to be running real well. I am not sure about Mobil 1.

Yeah, I've head that the tranny slips a lot because M1 works a bit too well. :pat:

Hmm, I've been running M1 ATF for 20K miles now in my 2nd gen and have not had a single problem.
