Minor Updates to 4Runner.
Well, 2010 is pretty slow workwise but I have to get out and get some camping in this summer. I have a place picked out down in Seldovia that the kids and I plan on exploring. I've put off almost all upgrades for a year now and I can't hold off any longer. Here are a few pics of what I've been working on. Some are pretty minor I know but all needed.
Lightforce LED light. I really like it. Holds 3 C-Cells. Got the mounting brackets off the internet and made a plate for it to bolt to. Then mounted infront of Pass. Seat. Also in pic is a full 5-piece set of Husky floormats that I got off eBay for a total of $140 (Shipping a new set up to me is $100 in itself...)
Tundra 199 brake upgrade:
Shackle Mounts:
Yakima LoadWarror, I already plan on getting the extension for it (for looks and function), and mounts for a shovel and maybe ax. I also planned on changing the "Yakima" wording from white to red. I have Yakima sending me some stickers they say may work. If not, I'll try getting something made up at a local shop :
I've also got several tots that are slowing filling with gear. One for recovery gear, another for camping gear, yet another for truck repair gear, .... They keep growing!
If we get the job we're waiting on in the next month or so I really need to get a suspension under my truck. It's riding so rough.... I had a buddy down under who said he had a "Rancho Lift" for a Hilux that I can have. Just pay shipping to get it hear. I asked him for specs on it, but he took a trip to Europe for several months...
I'm sure I'll just get the one I've spec. out from
