Mike, Ive got to thank you again

Mike,
Again, great job with the Arizona Rocks Video. I have watched it at least 5 times and it still gets me fired up. It is great to see the mods that are discussed here day after day, in action. For me, it was the first time I actually got to see lockers in use on the trail.

The real motivation behind this post is I went to the bar tonight and they played the song that Mike used with the Arizona Rocks video. While my friends were gauking at hot girls, I was visualizing Mikes video . I know....call me crazy...I have had many beers tonight. Dont get me wrong I was looking at the females too.
What I'm getting at is....I really appreciate this forum and all of you who post daily. It really helps me get through the work day.
So......Thanks Mike for making me want to spend even more$$$$ on my rig.
Keep the videos coming!!

Yeah...you know that beer has female hormones in it.

After drinking too much you get sentimental, start crying, and you drive a car like my mother-in-law.

Apologies in advance to any of our saner, better looking readers.

If you thought that video was good, too bad there is not one for Upper Woodpecker. Mike passed on that trial. Lee & Martin from California were turned away by the entrance rock, which left Myself, Steve Hunt, Mike Nievett and Joe in the Tundra. It was for the better that the crowd thinned.

Did you see the JadeRunner video? Maybe someone can host it?

I don't think I have seen Scott's.

Jataga has a really good server, and if you contact him, I'm sure he can host it.

He is hosting a few of the bigger Greenwater vids from last November.

That's cool. I'm glad someone hosted that for the group.

I still chuckle when I accidentally hit the horn on that last obstacle. I've thought about disconnecting it for runs Because that's not the first time I inadvertently hit it.

Hehe! It's a good thing for sliders too, otherwise you would've had a nice, big rock under your seat!

I bet that without sliders. That would have trashed the side of my truck so much I wouldn't have been able to open my door.

So I see you posted the vid Scheaf. Those trails are perfect for our Runners.

I was wondering about Lee. Does her Runner still have running boards? I remember them being pretty bashed up in August in Ouray.

They are completey destroyed now. Huge pieces fell off along the trail. They ran Martinez Canyon but could not make it over the entrance rocks at Upper Woodpecker and I advised them to skip that trail.

They did win a brand new set of Maniac Metal Works (Kong's) sliders at the raffel, so next time they go out they should have those installed.

Martin her husband drove this time.

Another great video. I like the choice of music with the reference made to Arizona in the lyrics.

That was a nice hit on the slider at the end. Any significant damage to the slider or pinch weld from that?

I deflected just a 1/4", just barley into the pinch weld. Just enough to knock some paint off the bottom of the pinch weld, but not really enough to bend it.

That's impressive. I really like the way they were designed. Beefy too.
Also, that custom front bumper looks like the perfect cross between a TJM-15 and an ARB.

Thanks TStange. I'm glad I insisted Christo design them with 4 supports. I don't thing 3 would have held up to a hard hit like that.
